Blogging in Archaeology

Colleen Morgan over at Middle Savagery has started a series of blog discussions on blogging in archaeology. Every week a question about blogging in archaeology is asked, and answered by numerous archaeology bloggers. Currently two weeks of questions have been asked.

The first question looked at the place of blogging in the discipline. You can see my response on the Campus Archaeology blog’s response from the MSU team. I discussed blogging as a way of opening up access to archaeological knowledge and the overall academic conversation. See the post here: Campus Archaeology- SAA 2011 Blogging in Archaeology, Week 1.

The second question looked at the problems of blogging in archaeology. Again, the MSU Campus Archaeology responded and I posted as part of this group. I discussed the problems of becoming a public face in archaeology. See the post here: Campus Archaeology- SAA 2011 Blogging in Archaeology, Week 2.
